On July 8, 2024, Hurrican Beryl blew over our home with 84 mph winds. At 4 weeks old, our latest litter of goldendoodle puppies were our first litter of Goldendoodles to experience a hurricane. While not fun and a little scary, these beautiful babies got a headstart providing goldendoodle therapy during Beryl,
We worried the pups would get spooked by all the loud noises, but these doodle puppies were champs and slept through the whole morning of high winds, falling trees and fences. Not having electricity for a week was a little more challenging in this Houston heat. The pups took to loving getting frequent rinse offs and enjoyed getting sleep with us in the big room with the aircon.
Goldendoodle Therapy During Beryl
Overall, they did amazing and seriously, these babies made excellent therapy pups. These pups seemed to natural know what we needed and gave us lots of goldendoodle therapy. They stayed calm, were always ready to give cuddles, and have already mastered that “look” that lets you know they understand just what you’re going through and it’s going to be okay.

As I stand here at my grooming table today trimming up my sweet goldendoodle girl, I’m torn about that goldendoodle beard of hers!
While my sweet goldendoodle girl here LOVES a good brushing out, she has a thing or two to say about the beard trim and seems especially attached to her hairy identity. Now if she was content to drink nicely from her water bowl, I wouldn’t think of touching the beard, however, she is not content to just take a simple drink of water, she has to stick her entire face in and swish around that lovely beard in her large water bowl. While part of her doodle charm, that goldendoodle beard gets knotted and matted when wet AND leaves water everywhere when she is done drinking. What to do???
Now on to the next step of my morning doodle trim and grooming — the spiky top knot. Do I dare touch that? Is she just as attached that part of her goldendoodle identity? Besides, I think it’s kind of charming. I think I will stop there and leave my sweet doodle girl showing a little bit of sweet and sassy goldendoodle personality.

Great News if You’re Looking for a Goldendoodle Puppy This summer!
If you’ve been looking for a goldendoodle puppy to bring home over the summer, you’re in luck! One of our goldendoodle mamas just had a beautiful litter of standard-sized, cream goldendoodle puppies. These beautiful doodle pups are going to have curly to fluffy coats and look like beautiful little lambs for a while. Mama is a light-parti colored goldendoodle, but as she’s gotten older, she’s a beautiful white/cream color (see picture at the end of this post) . Daddy is a red standard poodle, so some pups have a little color to their light coats. Full grown, these goldendoodle pups should be about 45-55 lbs. One or two of the bigger ones might hit 60 lbs.
So, if you’re looking for a goldendoodle puppy, contact us now to get on our waitlist. These babies were born on June 14th, 2024 and will be ready to go to their new home in early August. Our name theme this time around is famous mountains and mountain ranges. We just happened to be meeting some friends out for a rock-climbing adventure when we got word that the puppies were arriving, so when it came to giving the pups names, climbing was on our minds. So, introducing our summer litter of goldendoodle puppies.
Denali
Denali would be just fine if his family decided to relocate to Alaska — or least take him along on a cruise so he can catch a glimpse of his famous namesake. Denali (the goldendoodle) is a large, shaggy/fluffy boy
Rocky –
Named after the Rocky Mountain range is a large curly boy. Unlike the wild, crazy Rockies though, this Rocky is calm, chill and easy-going.
Fuji
This sweet little boy gets his name from that famous Fuji mountain in Japan. Fuji Doodle is the smallest in the litter (so far). He has a little more color in his coat and a cute littel white spot on his forehead and chest.
Andes
Named after the Andes Mountains in South America, this is one of the bigger boys. He’s got a beautiful curly coat and is going to be one good-looking boy.
Smoky
This handsome boy gets his name from the Great Smoky Mountains. He might be on the smaller side and have a straighter, shaggy/fluffy coat, but he dreams of getting to visit Dollywood one day and would love to join his family on a hike down the Apalachian Trail.
Sierra
The one and only girl in this bunch gets her beautiful name from the Sierra Nevadas. She hopes her future family loves camping and outdoorsy adventures.
Logan.
For those of you of wondering where this little guy got his name — there really is a Mount Logan. It’s the highest mountain peak in Canada. It’s the second highest in North America — after Mount Denali, of course. Logan is fine being number two though. No sibling rivalry here. After all, goldendoodles are known for their excellent temperment and fun-loving, easy-going personalities, right?

A big happy 2nd birthday to sweet Peach, an F1b goldendoodle, voted Best Office Doodle Ever! Here’s a shout out from Robin about what having a goldendoodle on staff, and in her life, is like.
Thank you, Robin, for sharing all these sweet moments with Peaches! We love seeing the very full and fun lives our doodles are living.
Update From Robin on Peaches, Best Office Doodle Ever!
“Peach brings sunshine and happiness where ever she goes. She shares my interior design studio with me. Actually, I don’t think she knows I run a business…she is pretty sure everyone comes to see her. Peach travels near and far to job sites too. Loves people and all types of animals sweetly. She runs the park with me most mornings here in SA. My life is way more fun with her in it!”
Every day is “bring your goldendoodle to work day” for this sweet girl. It’s no wonder she’s voted “Best Office Doodle Ever!”
“Waiting in my studio while the meeting is going on and on!!”
Still going?
Even Mom’s furry customers are welcome here!
Trying out my sales pitch to our four legged customers while mom makes her rounds at a job site.
Taking a little R&R after a long week at the studio.
“Peaches was in my bed playing on the velvet pillows…I was asking her to please get down…and that is the look she gave me. Cracked me up too!”
Peach is a total delight!
